Creative Writing Workshop: Writing Friendship
Join local author Elspeth Wilson for a creative writing workshop on Monday, 11th May, at 8pm at Night Books. In the workshop we'll explore different ways into writing about friendship, different kinds of friendship and why it can be such a fruitful area for writers. Whatever your level of creative writing experience (including none!), the workshop will be friendly, welcoming and accessible. Elspeth is the author of the coming-of-age novel These Mortal Bodies (Simon and Schuster) which centres female friendship, obssession and found sisterhood. Author talk with Abi Elphinstone at Haddstock Festival
We'll be popping up at Haddington Library on Saturday, 25th May at 11.30 am, when best-selling children's author Abi Elphinstone will be speaking all about her stunning new book, Ember Spark and the Thunder of Dragons, which is set in East Lothian! Abi will be speaking as part of Haddstock Festival. This is a free, drop-in event. Copies of Ember Spark will be available to purchase, and Abi Elphinstone will kindly be signing copies after her talk.
